1. Who Can Use JJ's World

JJ's World is intended for users of all ages, with a primary audience of children and young people. The following conditions apply:

• Under 13 (United States): If you are a child under 13 located in the United States, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy before the child creates an account. Use by children under 13 without verifiable parental consent is not permitted under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
• Under 13 (Canada): Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and provincial equivalents) similarly requires meaningful parental consent before personal information is collected from children. Parents should review our Privacy Policy before allowing a child under 13 to create an account.
• 13 and older: Users aged 13 and over may create an account. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian should be aware of and agree to these Terms.
• Adults: If you are 18 or older, you agree to these Terms on your own behalf.

2. Account Rules

• Each user may hold one account. Creating duplicate or alternate accounts to evade a ban is not permitted.
• Usernames must not contain real names, offensive language, slurs, references to violence, sexual terms, or any personally identifying information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
• You must not allow another person to use your account.
• JJ's World reserves the right to remove, change, or reclaim any username at our discretion without notice.
• Accounts that are inactive for 12 consecutive months may be deactivated. Any remaining JJ Coins are forfeited upon deactivation of an inactive account.

3. User Conduct

All users must follow the JJ's World Community Rules at all times. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

🚫 Prohibited in Chat and Communication

• Sharing real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, school names, or any other personally identifying information — your own or anyone else's.
• Using hate speech, slurs, racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory language.
• Threatening, bullying, harassing, or intimidating other players.
• Attempting to arrange offline meetings with other players.
• Sharing links to external websites, social media profiles, or any external content.
• Impersonating another user, moderator, or staff member.
• Engaging in sexual or suggestive conversation of any kind.

🚫 Prohibited in Gameplay and Building

• Using cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Exploiting bugs or glitches. Known bugs must be reported, not abused.
• Creating worlds, maps, or content containing sexual, violent, hateful, or inappropriate material.
• Attempting to access another user's account or the administrative system.
• Generating, distributing, or exploiting JJ Coins through unauthorized means.

4. JJ Coins & Virtual Currency

JJ Coins are the official virtual currency of JJ's World. The following terms govern their use:

• No Real-World Value: JJ Coins are virtual items with absolutely no monetary value in the real world. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to other platforms, or used outside of JJ's World under any circumstances.
• Signup Bonus: New accounts receive a one-time bonus of JJ Coins upon registration at no cost. This bonus is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Earning Coins: JJ Coins may be earned through gameplay, completing challenges, attending events, or redeeming valid promotional codes.
• Purchasing Coins: Additional JJ Coins may be purchased through the in-game shop using PayPal or redeemed via physical/digital gift card codes.
• Non-Transferable: JJ Coins belong to the account they were credited to and may not be gifted, traded, sold, or transferred to another account.
• Expiry: JJ Coins do not expire while your account remains active. If your account is deactivated or banned, coins are forfeited.
• Adjustments: JJ's World reserves the right to adjust, reduce, or remove JJ Coins from any account in cases of fraud, exploitation, unauthorized coin generation, or chargeback abuse.
• No Property Rights: Purchasing or earning JJ Coins does not grant any property rights. JJ Coins remain the property of JJ's World at all times.

5. Purchases & Payments

• All real-money purchases are processed through PayPal. JJ's World does not directly store credit card or banking information.
• All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. International users may be subject to currency conversion fees applied by their payment provider.
• All purchases are final once JJ Coins have been credited to the account wallet, except as described in the Refund Policy below.
• Parents are responsible for monitoring and approving any purchases made by children using their payment methods. We strongly recommend enabling purchase confirmation settings on your device.
• JJ's World is not responsible for unauthorized purchases made by minors using a parent or guardian's payment method without consent, however we will review refund requests submitted within 30 days (see Refund Policy).

6. Refund Policy

General Rule

All purchases of JJ Coins are generally non-refundable once coins have been added to your account, as the digital goods are delivered immediately upon purchase.

Exceptions We Will Review

• Technical failure: If you were charged but coins were never delivered, contact us within 7 days with your PayPal transaction ID and we will investigate and correct the error.
• Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same transaction, contact us within 7 days with evidence and we will issue a correction.
• Unauthorized purchase by a minor: If a child made a purchase without parental consent, a parent or guardian may request a review by emailing support@jjsworld.ca within 30 days of the charge. Include the transaction date, amount, and PayPal transaction ID. We handle these case by case.

Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy removes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act (Ontario) or equivalent provincial legislation, or any applicable federal Canadian consumer protection laws.

7. Gift Card & Redemption Codes

• JJ's World offers physical and digital gift card codes that can be redeemed for JJ Coins.
• Each code is single-use only. Once a code has been redeemed, it cannot be used again.
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be returned or exchanged for money.
• JJ's World is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged codes. Treat your codes like cash.
• Codes may have an expiry date printed on them. Expired codes cannot be redeemed.
• Attempting to generate, duplicate, reverse-engineer, or fraudulently use codes is a violation of these Terms and may result in a permanent ban and legal action.
• Codes sold through unauthorized third parties are not supported. Only purchase codes from authorized retailers (Amazon, Walmart, or directly through JJ's World).

8. Intellectual Property

• All content on JJ's World — including the platform design, logo, graphics, game mechanics, code, text, and JJ Coins system — is the exclusive intellectual property of JJ's World and its creator.
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of JJ's World without explicit written permission.
• Content you create within JJ's World (such as worlds or maps) remains yours, but by publishing it on the platform you grant JJ's World a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and host that content for other users to play.
• If you believe any content on JJ's World infringes your copyright, contact us at support@jjsworld.ca.

9. Safety & Moderation

• JJ's World actively moderates the platform. Administrators can mute, suspend, or permanently ban any account at any time.
• All chat messages are filtered automatically before delivery. Messages containing personal information, phone numbers, email addresses, external links, or prohibited language are blocked or redacted.
• Players can report other users using the in-game report button. All reports are reviewed.
• JJ's World may review chat logs and account activity to investigate safety or conduct violations.
• We reserve the right to share information with law enforcement if we believe a user is engaged in illegal activity, particularly any activity that endangers a child.

10. Account Suspension & Bans

JJ's World reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account at our sole discretion. Reasons may include but are not limited to:

• Violation of any section of these Terms.
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening behaviour toward other players.
• Sharing personal information in chat.
• Fraudulent purchases, chargebacks, or coin exploitation.
• Hacking, cheating, or attempting to access restricted areas of the platform.
• Any conduct deemed harmful to other players, especially minors.

Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may submit an appeal to support@jjsworld.ca with subject line "Ban Appeal." We will review and respond within 7 business days. Decisions on appeals are final.

Banned accounts forfeit all JJ Coins. No refunds will be issued for purchases made prior to a ban resulting from a Terms violation.

11. Disclaimers

JJ's World is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not guarantee that the platform will be available 100% of the time, or that it will be free of errors, bugs, or interruptions.
• We do not guarantee that all content created by users is appropriate or safe — we moderate proactively but cannot review everything in real time.
• We are not responsible for any loss of JJ Coins, items, or progress resulting from technical issues, server outages, or account deactivation for reasons within your control.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JJ's World and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of JJ Coins, loss of profits, or any other intangible loss arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the platform.
• Any content posted by other users.
• Unauthorized access to your account.
• Any interruption or cessation of the service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. In no case shall our total liability to you exceed the total amount you paid to JJ's World in the 90 days preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JJ's World and its creator from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your use of the platform in a manner that causes harm to another user or third party.
• Any content you create or submit on the platform.
• Any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized activity carried out through your account.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of JJ's World shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, except where prohibited by applicable local law.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protection laws that differ from the above, those laws may apply to the extent required.

15. Changes to These Terms

JJ's World reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• Display a notice within the platform or on the homepage.

Your continued use of JJ's World after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.
